† No Doubt About It

Do you wake up some mornings wondering why you feel as if you’ve disappointed God? You try to do the things you believe would please Him, but you fall short. You decide, I’m going to be kind and soft spoken today, only to be confronted with a situation that drew bad words and an angry tone from your mouth. Well, let me just say, you’re not alone.

If you’ve given your life to Christ and invited Him into your heart—you’re saved. Your salvation doesn’t lie in the power of you doing everything right. Nor does it mean you won’t ever sin or make a not so wise decision. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus died so that we can live eternally. But life on this earth is challenging and everyday an opportunity will present itself for us to feel some kind of way. Thank God our salvation is not based on how we feel or if we do everything right—everyday. No. Our salvation comes through Christ and Him alone.

Whether today is a good day or a bad day—“No Doubt About It”—you’re “Still Saved”! The Bible never required us to be flawless, but it does insist on us working with the Father to do the best we can at honoring Him and His Word. You will fall short from time to time but keep at it. If from your heart you are really trying to please Him, then “No Doubt About It—you’re Still Saved”. Never stop trying.

(Read Proverbs 24:16)
