So, you gave your life to Christ years ago and today it seems as if the joy and fire you used to enjoy while serving Him, has dwindled away.   You’re not sure when or where it went, but you feel as if it’s gone.  You’ve tried to keep focused on the stuff that’s worked out as you wanted it to, but the struggle to see them fades each day and with each new challenge.

Our salvation is not based on how we feel from day to day.  No.  It’s based on our faith in the Lord’s ability to keep us in His care.  We must purpose in our hearts to believe what the Word of God says about us and not how we think or feel from day to day.  Every new day—is an opportunity to do our best at being better than the day before.  It’s a new day of mercy and grace presented to us, from the Father Himself.  So, let’s remember that God sees things differently than we do and continue this journey, holding your head up—because you’re still saved!
