† It’s Not in the Evidence

Sometimes in life things don’t go as we have anticipated they would.  In my current journey to make it through these tough times, I am a living witness that they don’t, and I am still waiting that one day, if I hold on—they will.

Some would say, that’s stupid to keep waiting.  Others might say you have to make it happen on your own if you what the thing to become a reality.   Still there are groups that think it necessary to jump over people, walk on top of them, lie, steal, or cheat until that thing comes to fruition in their lives.

I beg to differ with all of these scenarios.  The Bible declares that faith is not what one sees—it’s what one hopes for.   It doesn’t matter what you see transpiring around you, it only matters that you continue to hope.  In other words, the evidence may tell a different story or draws you to a different outcome, but the evidence doesn’t reveal the things that God is doing behind the scenes.  What God is doing—is “Not in the Evidence”.

The Bibe says, with God all things are possible.  If we forget that and start depending on or focusing on what the evidence reveals—we will miss His moving every time.  Bible story and scripture after scripture proves my point.  In serving the Lord—we can’t rely on what our eyes see.  After all—the just shall live by faith and not by what our eyes can see nor what the natural evidence reveals.

I encourage you today to continue to hope.   If you stop hoping for God to move in your situation or bring about your heart’s desire than yes, you may have lost some faith in that situation.  If you continue to sum everything up by the evidence you can see, you may continue to feel defeated in that area of your life.   Stop looking for the evidence and continue to trust God at His Word!  It’s not always easy to do—but through Christ it can be done.

God will move when we least expect it if we keep hoping, keep praying, and close our natural eyes to what we see.  It’s Not in the Evidence” you see—because God doesn’t always move in our timing or fix things our way.  What He’s doing cannot be measured by mankind’s eyes because “It’s Not in the Evidence”—it’s by faith that it will come to pass if you keep hoping!   (Read Hebrews 11 KJV)
