We’ve all been through somethings in our lives. If you haven’t, I say to you—just keep on living. Life can get very difficult at times and can seen impossible to navigate to the other side of your issue, but I encourage you to give it your best shot.
I remember years ago in my early twenties; I was sent to a school for some additional job related training. I was currently living in North Carolina and had to travel to San Antonio Texas for the class. I decided it was far cheaper to travel by car rather than airplane. So, traveling alone in my little old Corolla, I packed my bags and grabbed everything I thought I would need for this six week course and off I went.
I had heard people say, if you’re traveling alone, make sure you have a credit card, roadside assistance insurance or at least Triple A (AAA). Well, I wasn’t able to afford any of that and at the time, all I had was money for food and gas. Thank God I had a girlfriend that loaned me her credit card to take with me to use “only if” I should need. Her credit card was my insurance policy if I should run into trouble.
The Christian life is similar to that. We are all on a journey trying to make it to our designation as safe as possible. More than anything we want to arrive in on piece. This world will throw things at us that can cause us to fall, mess-up, and even want to give up—to throw in the towel and never look back. Trust me I know all to well. But in those times—I thank the Lord for my “AAA” protection. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost!
The Bible says our days on this earth are full of trouble and it goes on to say that the Lord is a present help in times of trouble. He is there for us if we would only depend on Him. When trouble shows up—knowing Him and being in a relationship with Him is the best there is. My girlfriend was my saving grace back then, but now I have the real deal.
I encourage you today take out the best AAA policy there is and stay in your relationship with the Lord. Call Him anytime—both day and night and He will be there ready to assist you at getting to your final destination.
Remember, you won’t do everything perfect; you won’t say everything precise, and you won’t even feel like you’re a true member every day. But regardless of how you feel or what you face, God loves you and you can endure it with God’s AAA policy. No matter what comes at you or what you have to go through—even if you think it’s your fault, don’t go through it alone. Don’t suffer through it alone. Make the call and never forget—you’re “Still Saved”. Your supernatural AAA help is standing by waiting to hear from you. (Read Psalm 46 and Revelation 22:13 KJV)
